This service combines metal core PCB fabrication with motherboard PCBA manufacturing for electronic products that require thermal management, complex assembly or higher-power circuit designs.

MCPCBA manufactures aluminum and copper core PCBs as well as multilayer motherboards, with SMT, DIP, BGA and mixed-technology assembly. The EMS service covers PCB fabrication, component sourcing, assembly, testing and delivery.

Aluminum and Copper Core MCPCB

The MCPCB option uses aluminum or copper core substrates for applications where heat dissipation is an important part of the PCB design.

The listed thermal conductivity is 1.0-3.0 W/mK for the metal-core substrate. Board thickness for MCPCB is 0.8-3.2mm, with copper thickness from 1oz to 6oz.

Motherboard PCBA Assembly

The motherboard PCBA service supports complex multilayer boards with BGA devices, connectors and press-fit components.

The manufacturing capability covers up to 20 PCB layers, with motherboard thickness up to 6.0mm. Component capability includes BGA packages down to 0.4mm pitch and components ranging from 01005 devices to large connectors.

SMT, DIP and BGA Assembly

The PCBA manufacturing process supports SMT, DIP, BGA, press-fit and mixed-technology assembly.

This makes the service suitable for boards combining fine-pitch ICs, BGA packages, connectors, power devices and through-hole components on the same assembly.

Full EMS Manufacturing Service

The EMS service covers more than PCB assembly. It includes component sourcing, BOM management, DFM review, conformal coating, testing and box-build assembly.

Customers can therefore use one manufacturing workflow for PCB fabrication, component procurement, PCBA assembly, inspection and final product assembly.

Testing and Quality Control

Inspection and testing can include AOI, SPI, X-Ray, ICT, functional testing and burn-in.
