Product Details

BLDC Motor Drive Board PCBA

Custom BLDC motor drive board PCBA for brushless DC motor control applications. The controller supports FOC, sinusoidal and trapezoidal six-step control, with sensorless BEMF, Hall sensor and encoder feedback options.

The hardware and firmware can be customized according to the motor, voltage, current, speed and communication requirements of the application.

BLDC Motor Controller

The BLDC controller is designed for brushless motor applications ranging from compact fans and pumps to industrial motor systems.

The control board integrates the motor control MCU, power switching stage, feedback circuits and communication interfaces into a compact PCBA.

Control parameters and firmware functions can be adjusted according to the motor characteristics and system requirements.

FOC Motor Control

Field-Oriented Control is available for applications requiring smooth motor operation, accurate torque control and efficient operation across a wide speed range.

The controller can also support sinusoidal and trapezoidal six-step commutation for applications where a simpler motor control strategy is preferred.

Sensorless, Hall and Encoder Feedback

The BLDC drive board supports different motor feedback methods.

Sensorless BEMF detection can be used where Hall sensors are not required. Hall sensor and encoder feedback are also supported for applications requiring direct rotor position information and more precise motor control.

Wide Voltage and Current Range

The detailed technical specification supports customizable DC input from 12V to 72V and rated current from 1A to 50A.

This allows the same controller platform to be adapted for different motor sizes and power levels, from small cooling fans and pumps to higher-current industrial motor applications.

Motor Protection

Protection circuits are integrated into the controller design to improve reliability during abnormal operating conditions.

Available protection includes overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, over-temperature and reverse-polarity protection.

Soft-start and stall protection can also be added according to the application.

Communication Interfaces

The BLDC PCBA provides multiple control and communication interfaces for system integration.

Available interfaces include PWM, analog 0–5V, UART, CAN, I2C and RS485.

The interface configuration and communication protocol can be customized according to the host controller and application requirements.

Custom Firmware

Firmware customization is available for different motor control applications.

The control algorithm can be tuned for motor characteristics, speed response and current requirements. Custom functions can include speed ramping, current limiting, fault reporting and communication protocol integration.

PWM Motor Control

The controller supports PWM frequencies from 16kHz to 80kHz.

The PWM configuration can be adjusted according to the motor, switching devices, acoustic requirements and control strategy.

BLDC Drive PCB

The motor controller PCB uses 2–6 layer High-Tg FR4 construction.

The board layout can be customized around the power stage, motor connectors, feedback circuits and communication interfaces.

Thermal design can also be optimized for MOSFETs and other power components used in the motor drive.

Industrial Temperature Operation

The BLDC controller is designed for industrial applications with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

Component selection and PCB construction can be customized for applications exposed to vibration, temperature variation and continuous motor operation.

SMT and PCBA Manufacturing

The BLDC drive board can be manufactured as a complete PCBA, including PCB fabrication, component sourcing, SMT assembly, inspection and functional testing.

Production can support prototype samples, small batches and mass production.

OEM and ODM BLDC Controller

The controller hardware and firmware can be customized for OEM and ODM motor projects.

Customers can provide motor specifications, electrical requirements, control logic or existing design files. Customization can cover the PCB, power stage, feedback method, communication interface and firmware.
