Product Details

EV Charging Board PCB and PCBA

This EV charging board is designed for electric vehicle charging equipment, including AC home chargers, commercial charging stations and DC fast charging systems. The service covers PCB fabrication, component sourcing, SMT and DIP assembly, and custom PCBA production based on customer Gerber files and BOM.

The board design can be adapted to different charging power requirements, with the source page listing 7kW, 11kW and 22kW AC charging modules and 30kW to 240kW DC fast charging modules.

High-TG FR-4 and Aluminum PCB

For high-power charging applications, the PCB can use high-TG FR-4 or aluminum substrates. Copper thickness from 1oz to 4oz is available, helping accommodate different current-carrying and thermal requirements.

The board supports 2 to 12 layers, with HASL, ENIG, OSP and immersion silver available as surface finish options.

AC and DC EV Charging Applications

The PCBA can be used for both AC and DC charging equipment. AC applications include residential and commercial EV chargers, while higher-power DC applications cover fast-charging pile mainboards and charging modules.

The listed charging range includes 7kW, 11kW and 22kW AC systems and 30kW to 240kW DC fast-charging systems.

SMT and DIP Assembly

The manufacturing service combines PCB fabrication with SMT and DIP assembly. Component sourcing can also be included as part of the production process.

This allows the complete EV charging board to be manufactured from the customer's PCB design and BOM rather than requiring separate PCB and assembly suppliers.

Custom Gerber and BOM Production

Custom EV charging boards can be produced from Gerber files, BOM lists and schematics. Engineering support can be provided for prototype production and subsequent mass production.

This approach is suitable for EV charger manufacturers that already have their own charging control board design and need PCB fabrication and PCBA manufacturing.

EU Standard EV Charging Boards

The page specifies CE, RoHS 2.0 and IEC 61851 as applicable compliance standards for the EV charging board. The listed operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C.

For projects targeting the European market, compliance documentation and testing requirements can be discussed according to the final charger design and certification program.
