Product Details

STM32G071C8T6TR is a mainstream 32-bit microcontroller from the STM32G0 family, based on the Arm Cortex-M0+ processor core. It combines a 64MHz CPU, embedded Flash and SRAM, digital communication interfaces, analog peripherals and timers in a compact LQFP-48 package, providing a practical solution for embedded control and general-purpose microcontroller applications.

The device provides 64KB of Flash program memory and 36KB of SRAM for firmware execution, data storage and runtime processing. The Cortex-M0+ architecture offers a balance of processing capability, low power consumption and peripheral integration for applications that do not require the processing resources of higher-end microcontroller families.

STM32G071C8T6TR operates at CPU frequencies up to 64MHz and supports a 1.7V to 3.6V supply voltage range. The device is specified for an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for a variety of industrial, consumer and embedded applications.

The microcontroller integrates a broad set of communication interfaces, including two I2C interfaces, two SPI interfaces, I2S functionality and four USART interfaces. It also incorporates a USB Type-C Power Delivery controller, providing additional interface and power-management flexibility for compatible system designs.

For analog signal processing and monitoring, STM32G071C8T6TR includes a 12-bit ADC with multiple input channels and a dual-channel 12-bit DAC. Two fast comparators are also integrated into the device, allowing external analog signals and threshold conditions to be monitored without requiring separate comparator ICs.

The timer resources support PWM generation, timing control and general-purpose embedded control functions. These capabilities make the device suitable for applications such as motor control, power management, actuator control and appliance electronics where precise timing and programmable control outputs are required.

STM32G071C8T6TR also incorporates DMA, memory protection and multiple power-saving modes. Sleep, Stop, Standby and Shutdown modes provide different options for reducing power consumption in battery-powered and energy-conscious applications. A VBAT input supports the RTC and backup registers when the main supply is removed.

The device is housed in a 48-pin LQFP package measuring approximately 7mm × 7mm. The package provides 44 I/O lines and offers a compact surface-mount solution for embedded circuit boards where multiple peripherals and external control signals need to be connected to the microcontroller.

Typical applications include industrial control equipment, home appliances, consumer electronics, IoT devices, smart equipment, portable electronics and embedded control systems. Its combination of Cortex-M0+ processing, memory, analog peripherals, communication interfaces and timers allows developers to implement control logic and system-management functions with a single microcontroller.

When designing with STM32G071C8T6TR, engineers should verify the required I/O configuration, peripheral allocation, clock configuration, power-supply design, ADC/DAC requirements and thermal conditions against the specific application and the latest STMicroelectronics documentation.
